    You should do a second video of what the table looks like now and if you’ve added anything else to it. I’d say dust collection, drawers, power management. The table is too big for my space but thanks for the ideas. Will have to see if I can mock up a smaller version.

    Thank you! The putting a flat edge on the top/bottom of the cleats was something I didn't think about. Now i know what thickness of wood is needed and how wide they need to be. I plan to use french cleats for wall cabinets I'm going to make for my bathroom.

    Very cool and well done! It’s more expensive than using jugs of water but if you do this often there’s something called a q-vac that we use. You put the hose behind the liner and turn it on once you have the liner in place and it sucks the liner against the walls and floor. Very satisfying to watch.

    interesting test! I was right for this specific test. It would be interesting to see the results again but with metal walls like a lot of above ground pools have. but also a comparison with insulated walls and a cover.

    Thanks for the video. I was contemplating insulating my pool? Interesting test. We have an above ground pool and a heat pump …and a clear solar blanket. The blanket allows sunlight to penetrate somewhat…but isn’t on if the kids are in the pool. I think I would be better off with a blanket that retains more heat versus the one that allows sun light to go through it.

    I've seen other sets of these, but I think this is my favorite and the one I will build. The other ones I've seen are functional and work just fine, but there's something almost elegant about this design. Of course, the fact that their built in a nice shop without dust and crap all over the place probably helps with that perception. Cheers!

    Good idea with the toggle clamps. I think I'll make these for my DeWalt job-site saw, because the surface available in front of the blade is absurdly small.

      Yes I agree, as soon as larger sheets are used then its very hard to support it when feeding it into the saw.

    I saw this same idea on Izzy Swan's channel...... it's a great accessory! Even with the added support I'd still be nervous using it when trying to rip a full sheet. I'd be concerned about the front end staying down, even with a featherboard in the fence, or not keeping even lateral pressure against the fence as I'm feeding the board through the saw. But that's just me. 🙂. Nice build and thank you for sharing!

    • @DesireToInspire1
      @DesireToInspire1 Місяць тому

      I totally get what you mean. Handling big sheets is always tricky and in most cases its better to move the saw then the big sheet. I ♥ Izzy Swan content, great stuff :)
